I’ve been trying the Burt’s Bees range of make up and I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised. Love the premise that real, natural beauty is about looking and feeling your beautiful self. Every woman is different and natural beauty is authentic beauty especially when it’s affordable beauty.

The full cosmetic line is formulated without parabens, ska, petrolatum, talc or synthetic fragrances. The formula is amazing as it only includes smart natural ingredients that work together so the skin can live well.

I really liked the liquid foundation (available in 12 shades); it lasted all day and the finish felts nice and natural but it does offer full coverage. If you’re looking for a lighter coverage option, the Mattifying powder foundation (made with Bamboo) may be a better option. It was super lightweight, my skin felt very smooth and even; and at$17.99, this one is a steal.

Also loved ALL the eye cosmetics: the 100% natural nourishing mascara (made with Jojoba oil/ Very gentle and defines lashes while nourishing); the eyebrow pencil (made with Jojoba oil and Shea butter); the nourishing eyeliner (fade resistant/ made with Jojoba oil and Mango) and the eye shadow trios (made with Bamboo, honey and vitamin E/ offer just the right amount of pigmentation).

The mineral 100% natural blush offers a natural soft glow, blends easily and evenly. Love the formula of Bamboo, honey 🍯 and vitamin E that keeps on nourishing the skin while giving the skin a healthy looking glow.

The glossy creamy lipsticks felt more like lipglosses. They kept my lips well moisturized and shiny (my favorite product of the line). Very hydrating, they contain raspberry seed oil, mornings oil and beeswax.

I’ve been using Burt’s Bees hydrating gel cream with royal jelly; a lightweight moisturizer infused with Royal jelly and amino acids. Non greasy, non sticky, the gel cream offers up to 48hrs nourishing moisture. It was perfect for my combination skin.

Overall, this is a hit. Burt’s Bees has created a collection of totally wearable, affordable skin- nourishing staples that once you try you won’t be able to live without.
